I purchased my 1988 Nissan 300zx turbo about 2 years ago in bone-dry stock form. It is undoubtedly a quick, reliable, & surprisingly advanced (technology for it's time), and overall blast to drive.. I immediately replaced it's timing belt, water pump, drive belts, and cam seals/sprockets (120,000 mi. maintinence tune up). Other than this, other basic scheduled maintinence, and a brake master cylinder going bad, this rock solidly factory built VG30ET engine has given me no problems....Not to mention, I've added a 3" turbo-back exhaust sys, intake, fuel pump, intercooler, MSD ignition, and raised boost, etc. performance upgrades for a price more affordable than you'd think...This beast now puts down over 300hp & 330tq, and NOWHERE NEAR it's safe power limit for the stock internals....Without body/exterior upgrades this car looks a little bit "boxy", but can be made over into an aggressive looking sports car easily. UNDERRATED. UNDERESTIMATED. IMMENSELY POTENTIAL VEHICLE...
